Some birding places and its checklists

Una's Birds - BA

 

 

        Una Region, in Bahia State, still has big remanecent areas of atlantic wood, known all around the world by its great biodiversity.

        Besides the swamp area and the restinga forests, there still are the atlantic forest, with original vegetation, where a great variety of animals live.

        We had visited some forest remanescents in particular areas and conservation units, as also Comandatuba Island, for our ornithological studies and for constructing the local birds checklists, with the collaboration of the Biologist biólogo Maurício Arantes, who lives in the region.
