Birds checklists by places
Angatuba (SP)

Here follows the birds checklist from the observed birds by Antonio Silveira at Estação Ecológica de Angatuba, in ornithological visits in 2001.
This Ecological Station was created in 1985, with an area of 1,384 ha, at Angatuba and Guareí counties. Its also around Angatuva Stative Forest, what increases more its ecological value.
There are many threatened animals species in the area.
It's important to remember that, besides the obseved birds, we have also observed a family with 3 animals of the Black Lion Tamarin (more information http://www.aultimaarcadenoe.com/infobioingles.htm).
